TaxAim grew out of two and a half decades in Canadian tax — through filing seasons that never stop, through software that got more expensive and less helpful every year, through watching the industry surrender control of its most critical tools to companies that don’t prepare a single return.
We’ve used the software you use. We’ve paid the prices you pay. We’ve called the support lines, waited on hold, and renewed our subscriptions anyway — because there was nothing better worth switching to.
Affordability isn’t a marketing angle for TaxAim. It’s the reason TaxAim exists. Not “affordable” like slightly cheaper than last year’s renewal increase — genuinely affordable. For professional preparers of every size, and for the individual Canadians who just need help getting it right without paying through the nose for it.
